Job summary

Schedule/Shift

Shift: 4x12 nights (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend requirement: every other weekend. On call: 2 on call in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for both Maternal and Fetal patients on the Mother-Baby unit. Responsibilities include administration of blood products, antepartum care, newborn assessments, cesarean section care, and postpartum care. The nurse will also be responsible for patient education regarding breastfeeding, discharge teaching, and pain assessment and management.
