The unit provides care for post-operative and intermediate care patients, with Bariatric Center of Excellence designation, and opportunities to grow skills in surgical and progressive care nursing.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (RN)
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced unit

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation per nursing standards.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care and educates on post-discharge needs.
• Ensures patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
• Develops and communicates care plans with interprofessional team.
