Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a Special Full Time RN for our Medical Intensive Care Unit to plan, coordinate and monitor patient care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals. The RN must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing and hold current licensure as an RN in West Virginia or a compact state.

BLS certification is required. Experience is preferred but not required, with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely patient care in a dynamic ICU

Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Ensures that variations based on patients' individual needs are justified and well documented. Assists with the management needs of Nursing Unit.

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse(RN) in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.

EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred but not required.

SKILLS: Knowledge of current nursing procedures. BLS required.
