Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking a registered nurse to join our patient-centered team. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate care, collaborating with all disciplines on the unit.

The ideal candidate holds NY RN licensure with a BSN, and has 1–2 years of Critical Care and Med-Surg or ED experience; ACLS and BLS current. CCRN or Med-Surg certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN Required.
• 1 - 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
• 1 - 2 years Med-Surg or ED experience required.
• Acute care surgical patients experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Current ACLS required.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
