Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for Telemetry (MedSurg/Telemetry) on a 13-week assignment in California. The role supports a 27-bed unit with 1:4-5 telemetry ratios and occasional floating to other units as staffing demands dictate.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license with ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and at least 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience. Titration of select meds and telemetry interpretation are key responsibilities, with a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications are required or current.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• Titrate medications per physician orders (e.g., heparin, diltiazem).
• Monitor telemetry strips and document findings every four hours.
• Float to ED, Med-Surg and other units as staffing requires.
• Maintain patient safety and respond to alarms promptly.
