ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Telemetry in Overland Park, Kansas. This 13-week contract requires shift coverage from 7A to 7P with at least every third weekend and three shifts weekly.

You will care for a 25-bed telemetry unit, communicate with patients, participate in leadership rounds, and ensure accurate documentation. ACLS/BLS are required, with dysrhythmia recognition and teamwork essential.

Job Description

The Medical Telemetry Unit is focused on providing high-quality, safe patient care for a diverse population including renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients. Our team works collaboratively to ensure exemplary documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care on a 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit.
• Commune with patients daily to enhance their experiences, focusing on nurse explanations and respect.
• Participate in nurse leader rounds to review patient care quality and safety.
• Documentation compliance related to central lines, Foley Catheters, C. difficile, and other healthcare-associated infections.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia recognition skills are necessary.
• Strong team-oriented attitude is essential.
