Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a part-time RN to join our Medical Surgical/Ortho-Neuro-Ortho unit. This 27-bed unit cares for adults with stroke, orthopedic and neuro-spine conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role includes delivering evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, monitoring progress, administering medications, educating patients and families on post-operative care, and maintaining accurate documentation in

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN License in Connecticut.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• The ideal candidate will have one or more years of medical-surgical or neuro/ortho in an acute inpatient setting.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

Responsabilités

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
