Saint Mary’s Hospital’s Medical Surgical/Ortho-Neuro-Ortho Unit is a 27-bed unit serving adults with stroke, orthopedic, and neuro-spine conditions. The RN will deliver evidence-based care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, monitor progress, administer medications, and educate patients on post-operative recovery.

The nurse will rotate to night shifts, maintain documentation, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment within a Catholic, not-for-profit hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• CT RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 1+ year med-surg or neuro/ortho inpatient experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
