Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead patient care on a busy unit. You will oversee assessment, planning and documentation, collaborating with the health care team to ensure high-quality care. This role is with HCA Healthcare, a leader in patient care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with TN RN licensure (or compact state) and BLS, and you will mentor staff and ensure safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care.
• Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
• Provide individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
• Adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Under the general supervision of the unit’sdirector, theCNC assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individualis responsible forthe ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.

What you will do in this role:
