Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care tailored to individual needs. They operate within a clinical environment supported by Nurse Managers and the Wellstar Shared Governance Model, guided by evidence-based practice, the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, and the ANA Code of Ethics. All RNs are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the standards set by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice, ensuring individualized care and effective partnerships.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and patient preferences.
• Partner with patients and families through methods like bedside reports and patient education, focusing on patient goals.
