Job summary

SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as the Medical Team Administrator at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina.

The primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional night or weekend coverage as needed. This role offers structure, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while overseeing the delivery of quality correctional healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating daily healthcare operations
• Providing clinical guidance and support to the nursing team
• Delivering direct patient care as needed
• Coordinating patient assessments, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
• Ensuring compliance with established clinical policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
• Communicating with facility leadership and the SHP healthcare team
• Supporting staff development, scheduling, and clinical performance
• Helping maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
• Responding to staffing needs, including occasional night or weekend coverage when necessary
