Job summary

SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is hiring a Registered Nurse to serve as Medical Team Administrator at Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina. This role focuses on overseeing day-to-day healthcare delivery, providing hands-on clinical support, and ensuring compliant operations within the facility.

The MTA will lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional night or weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in North Carolina
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to lead nursing teams and ensure compliance with clinical policies

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily healthcare operations within the facility
• Provide clinical guidance and support to the nursing team
• Deliver direct patient care as needed
• Coordinate patient assessments, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Communicate with facility leadership and SHP healthcare team
• Support staff development, scheduling and clinical performance
• Maintain a safe, professional healthcare environment
• Respond to staffing needs, including occasional night or weekend coverage
