Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Medical Team at Boone County Jail. This full-time position offers autonomy in nursing practice, allowing nurses to make evidence-based decisions quickly and effectively. The role involves coordinating patient care in a secure environment, emphasizing ethics, integrity, and respect for patient dignity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient needs and care plans in a secure setting.
• Make autonomous, evidence-based decisions in daily nursing practice.
• Uphold ethical standards, including confidentiality and respect for patient dignity.
• Support and collaborate with team members to provide quality care.

Qualifications

Current RN license; experience in a correctional or similar setting preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7am - 3:30pm

Pay: Up to $44/hr, with sign-on and retention bonuses.
