Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York, NY seeks a Night Shift RN to deliver direct Med/Surg care, using the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care and to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Requirements: NYS RN registration with a nursing diploma; BSN preferred. 1–2 years Med/Surg with telemetry preferred.

BLS required; ACLS preferred. Shift: Nights 7:00 pm–7:30 am with some weekend/holiday work.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN registration and nursing diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Telemetry/cardiac patient experience preferred.
• Med/Surg certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
