Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric patients in the Medical/Surgical Unit, aligned with hospital policies.

Requirements include current RN license in Alabama, ability to read/write/speak English, BLS certification, and familiarity with Windows-based EMR software; ACLS preferred and annual competency completion is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• BLS certification completed.
• ACLS preferred; EKG course completed; annual competency requirements.
• Experience with computer software in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients.
• Provide nursing care in Medical/Surgical Unit (e.g., 2 East to 7 East) per hospital policies and procedures.
• Support the mission, vision and values of the hospital and department.
