Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Department in Henderson, NC. This full-time position involves providing direct patient care, performing medical interventions, and documenting patient conditions. Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
• PALS, ACLS and Handle with Care preferred.
• One year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Skills

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NC

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

One year of RN experience

PALS, ACLS and Handle with Care preferred

Education
