Livingston Regional Hospital, part of the ScionHealth network in Tennessee, seeks a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical in an acute care setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and supporting patients and families. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing and active RN licensure; BSN preferred; BLS/ACLS/CPI per policy; 6

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS, ACLS, CPI per facility policy.
• Minimum 6 months Medical/Surgical experience in acute care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments to determine nursing care needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and orders.
• Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient education.
• Provide direct care including ADLs, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility support.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination and discharge planning.
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Ensure infection control and fall prevention protocols are followed.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
