Lifepoint Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in alignment with standards. You will report to the department Director/Manager and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes documentation, patient education, safety, and participation in performance improvement initiatives while maintaining dependable attendance and embracing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
