Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's 2 East Milton unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, patient-centered care on a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit, caring for adults with diverse needs. You will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for each patient.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Active RN license in MA.
• BLS certification required before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Considers cultural beliefs; uses interpreter services as needed.
• Provides and coordinates health teaching for patient and/or caregiver.
• Collaborates with health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Maintains competencies for the patient population served.
