Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 0.90 FTE, day shift Medical 2 position. The role includes direct patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, under a collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range is $45.78–$82.98 per hour, dependent on experience. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, documenting in the health record, and supervising care delegation to team members.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure and current BLS certification.
• One year of nonacute RN experience or 6 months Acute Care RN experience; orientation allowed.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing direct patient care in alignment with unit standards.
• Collaborate with care team to promote patient and family centered care.
• Document care in health record according to standards.
• Direct and delegate nursing tasks to team members as appropriate.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
