Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Vermont is seeking a registered nurse to deliver care to adults on inpatient units using the nursing process, combining evidence-based practice with hands-on care. This role supports patients with acute or chronic illnesses and those recovering from general and orthopedic surgeries.

You will expand on nursing assessment, delegation, prioritization, critical thinking and time management within a collaborative team focused on process improvement and a positive culture.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program is required.
• Ability to obtain Vermont RN license by date of employment.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care using the nursing process based on evidence-based, hands-on and critical thinking practices.
• Care for adults on inpatient units with acute and/or chronic illnesses and postoperative patients.
• Collaborate with a team dedicated to process improvement, problem solving and teambuilding.
