Equiliem is seeking a Medical/Surgical RN for a 32-bed unit with a dedicated team of 50 staff across day and night shifts. Patient ratios are day 1/5 and night 1/6, with Welch Allyn vital signs machines, i-mobile iPhones, radio headsets, and Meditech EMR.

Permanent positions are available on this unit. The ideal candidate has Medical/Surgical experience and BLS certification; ACLS and transplant/dialysis experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical/Surgical experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients is preferred.

About the Unit

This unit consists of 32 beds and a dedicated team of 50 staff members. The staff is divided into day and night shifts:

• Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 PCTs
• Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2 PCTs

Patient Ratios:

• Day: 1/5
• Night: 1/6

Equipment used includes Welch Allyn vital signs machines, i-mobile iPhones for communications, and radio with headsets. The EMR system used is Meditech. Permanent positions are available on this unit.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered for the role:

• Medical/Surgical experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

• Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients
• ACLS certification

Typical Procedures

This unit performs various surgical procedures, including kidney transplants.
