Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff levels.
• Provide peers with verbal and written feedback regarding clinical practice.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement patient plans of care.
• Analyze health status of individuals and families to determine care needs.
