Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in the Short Stay Unit at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville to provide leadership, assess patients, and coordinate care across the care team.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, perform risk assessments, ensure patient safety and quality, and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to meet individualized care plans. You will mentor staff, document care, and advocate for patients and families in line with AHN policies.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.
• CPR certification (required).

• Supervises and evaluates LPN scope of practice as appropriate.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care as prescribed.
• Delivers culturally appropriate, patient- and family-centered care.
