Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing care and develop plans, implement, and evaluate care.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Mentor and role model to build the team.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and performance.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Use the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
• Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
• Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction.
