Job summary

Randolph Health Pediatrics in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support daily patient care in a busy primary care setting. You will be involved in hands-on clinical duties and patient education under supervision.

A CMA or LPN credential is required. CPR certification is expected; a minimum of 1 year in a primary care office is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of CMA (CAAHEP) program with CMA credential or ABHES program with RMA credential, or NC LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a primary care setting preferred but not required.

Ability to recognize medical needs of patients and their families; ability to educate patients and family members; ability to explain to patient and families prescribed medications. High School Diploma or equivalent required. A graduate of a CAAHEP accredited medical assisting program with a current CMA credential or a graduate from ABHES-accredited medical assisting programs with a current RMA credential or a c urrent valid North Carolina LPN license to practice . CPR Certification. Minimum of 1-year experience in a primary care physician's office preferred, but not required.
