Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates care across disciplines including transfers and discharges.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Deligates tasks to ancillary staff and may precept students or new hires.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and decisive judgment.
