Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical ICU on a part-time basis (24 hours/week). The role covers day shifts 7:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, and no travel.

You will provide professional nursing care under the Illinois RN Practice Act, assess patients, plan and evaluate care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher; if ADN is highest degree, must obtain BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor progress and document observations; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm (Day shift) with rotating weekends and holidays

What you will need:

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Required License and/or Certification:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position

What you will do:

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
