Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking an experienced RN for the Med/Tele Department. The role involves coordinating total nursing care on Atwood 4, with evening/night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. The unit handles patients with sepsis, stroke, NSTEMI, heart failure, COPD, and other conditions.

36 hours per week with a patient-centered, team-based approach. Strong nursing foundation, MA RN licensure, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from vaccination by signing a statement after hire.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee, coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit and ensure care is appropriate to the age group served.
