Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Registered Nurse for East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado. This PRN MedSurg RN rotates 07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30, including every 3rd weekend, nights and holidays. Cross-training to PCU and Women & Infant Services broadens clinical skills and supports multiple patient populations.

Shift differentials apply for nights and weekends. This PRN role has no guaranteed hours, PTO accrual, or medical benefits; applications encouraged for qualified nurses seeking flexible

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by area of practice.
• Experience in acute care nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan care, and coordinate with care teams.
• Develop discharge plans and ensure smooth transitions.
• Implement care plans and supervise delegated nursing tasks.
• Communicate patient status clearly to the care team and family.
• Document assessment, interventions, and outcomes in the chart.
• Support quality improvement and participate in education of staff when applicable.
