Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit to deliver exceptional patient care in a 41-bed setting.

The role involves managing patients with CHF, hypertension, COPD, diabetes, and respiratory diseases, while maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio and working with a supportive team and leadership. Average stays are 7–10 days with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid RN licensure in the state.
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications such as ENPC, TNCC, or CEN are preferred; facility-specific training in restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Contribute to patient care during an average stay of 7–10 days and maintain 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
