Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth, Department of Medical Surgical Telemetry, has a full-time Registered Nurse opportunity. The RN delivers patient-family centered care with evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service across the care continuum.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and documenting care, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and coordinating discharge planning. Florida RN licensure and ACLS/BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred, ASN with 2 years to complete BSN accepted.
• Valid Florida RN License; ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients and evaluate plans; document nursing care and report vital signs.
• Modify patient treatment plans per physician orders and patient response; review tests and coordinate with physicians.
