Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The role offers a part-time schedule with day shifts and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include an active California RN license, current BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and basic arrhythmia interpretation. BSN preferred. The hospital provides competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment.
