Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its award-winning team. The nurse will deliver safe patient care across the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit, following the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and families.

Requirements include valid RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, basic arrhythmia interpretation, and preferred Acute Care/hospital experience. BSN is preferred; full-time days shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directly communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s condition including monitoring, diagnostics and symptoms.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current and valid state RN license

BLS certificate upon hire

ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire

Ventilator Management experience preferred
