Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking registered nurses to join our Medical Telemetry unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, night shifts from 7pm to 7am, and exposure to a 38-bed telemetry unit with diverse diagnoses.

You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an engaged team, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous learning. Eligible candidates should have ADN, Texas RN license, BLS, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing.
• ADN required.
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Medical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with an engaged team to ensure safe, high-quality care for all patients.

We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
• Chest Pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate
