Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care on a 20-bed Med/Surg and Telemetry unit. You will implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate discharge needs while educating patients and families, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires BLS certification and an RN license, with a minimum of one year acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol
