Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. night shift in a 20-bed Med/Surg and Telemetry unit.

You will provide direct nursing care, monitor and adjust patient care plans, and coordinate discharges. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available, with a focus on safety and caregiver well-being. Qualified candidates hold RN licensure, BLS certification, and 1 year of acute care experience, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve intended outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocol.

Education

Diploma, ADN, or BSN

Current RN licensure

BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)
