Job summary

Holy Cross Germantown Hospital in Germantown, MD is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Med/Surg/Telemetry to deliver bedside care to acutely ill patients. You will collaborate with a virtual RN and a CNA to ensure quality care in a fast-paced unit, focusing on stroke/neuro patients and educating families on diagnoses and care.

Requirements include RN licensure in Maryland (or compact state), BLS, 1 year acute care experience, and a BSN preferred with a time-bound plan to obtain if not present at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state.
• BSN preferred; agreement to obtain BSN/MSN within a defined timeframe if not present at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to acutely ill medical and telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the vRN and CNA to deliver quality care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care.
