Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Stroke Unit. The role involves a 12-hour night shift with weekend/holiday rotation, providing high-quality care to acutely ill patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

You will collaborate with a virtual RN and CNA, participate in planning and delivery of care, and educate patients and families across diagnoses such as respiratory, cardiac, GI, renal, and neuro.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or compact state.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with electronic patient management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care to acutely ill medical and telemetry patients, stroke/neuro focus.
• Collaborate with team to plan and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and care plans.
