Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for Med Surg Tele to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment. You will collaborate with providers and care teams, follow nursing models, and advocate for patients and families to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities include admissions assessment, medication administration, timely documentation, patient education, and addressing family needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in Texas and be eligible to practice.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition at admission and each scheduled shift; promptly identify and report changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record; respond to unintended medication effects.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures; translate complex medical terminology.

Education

RN License (Texas)

Associate Degree in Nursing

ACLS Certification (within 30 days)
