Job summary
Southcoast Health System in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate total nursing care on the Med Surg/Tele unit, provide patient and family teaching, and collaborate with the care team. Requires graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, MA RN license, BLS, and 0-3 months experience recommended.
Full vaccination against flu and COVID-19 or exemption by signed statement. Compensation will be based on experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Three (3) months experience is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from vaccination by signing a statement.
- Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients on the unit.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership by coordinating with ancillary nursing and other team members.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit.
