Job summary

Qualifications

• Expérience en soins médicaux-surgicaux souhaitée.
• Certificat AHA BLS requis.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance des patients cardiaques sur l'unité médicale-chirurgicale.
• Éducation des patients sur leur maladie et traitement.

Unit Description:

3 East is a 29-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit. 3EB focuses on cardiac and medical patients requiring cardiac monitoring, education about their illness, treatment, health restoration, and maintenance.

Preference will be given, by seniority, to qualified nurses who were serially displaced within 18 months following their displacement, according to MNA contract section 9.4 (f)(1).

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• Evidence of Continuing Education
• Med Surg experience preferred
• Current Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of starting
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Effective time management skills and communication abilities

Recommended Requirements:

• Documented professional developmental activities
• Knowledge of Critical Paths
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• AHA ACLS preferred

Staff may be floated to other areas as needed.
