Job Description:

Unit Description:

3 East is a 29-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit. 3EB specializes in cardiac and medical patients requiring cardiac monitoring, education about their illness, treatment, health restoration, and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• Evidence of Continuing Education
• Med Surg experience preferred
• Current Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of start date
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Effective time management and communication skills

Recommended Requirements:

• Documented professional development activities
• Knowledge of Critical Paths
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• BSN degree preferred
• AHA ACLS certification preferred

Staff may be floated to other areas as needed.
