Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (06:45 – 19:15)

Description: This is a cardiac surgical floor. We have LVAD patients, open heart surgery patients, and anything cardiac-wise you will see on our unit. Our patient ratio is 4:1. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required for this unit. We are a 30-bed unit with all private rooms.

Additional Information:

1. Unit welcomes first-time travelers!
2. Float required occasionally.
3. Every other weekend coverage.
4. Scrub Color: Navy.

Floating: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.

Modules: Modules are billable, all hours. RN average 4-6 hours. Allied 2-3 hours. Modules are completed onsite during orientation. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
