This role will involve delivering nursing care to adult patients in a 36 hours/week position with shifts including both day and night schedules. Applicants are required to hold a valid nursing license and ideally possess experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in management of acute care patient population.
• Licensed as an RN in Wisconsin or with a multi-state license.
• BLS certification from AHA or an equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Deliver care to an adult population in an inpatient environment.
• Demonstrate competency in the delivery of nursing care.

Job Title: RN - Med Surg Tele

Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226

Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible extensions)

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Schedule: 36 hours/week, every other weekend, float as needed

Job Summary:

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a group of patients in an inpatient environment
• Demonstrates clinical competency in care delivery to a primarily adult population
• Role responsibilities aligned with ANA Nursing: Product and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010)
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of acute care patient population
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice typically acquired through completion of an accredited nursing program
  
  

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing - Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Preferred
  
  

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current State of Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Nursing License (NLC)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent
  
  

Schedule Notes:

• Med Surg Tele experience required
• Float as needed
• Every other weekend
• Not On Call
• Float Position
