Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teaching for patients and families.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
