Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies and standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating care for all assigned staff and maintaining high standards of practice, accountability, and professional growth in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; active Georgia RN license required.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year hospital setting experience preferred for PRN positions.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
