Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the life span, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies, maintain high standards of practice, and coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• New graduates eligible (No experience required)
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
