Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will employ nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, within organizational policies and standards.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure with BCLS, and enthusiasm for professional growth. Hospital setting experience is preferred but not mandatory for new grads; certification in specialty areas is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• New graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Hospitals experience preferred; 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure or multi-state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

Work Experience

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
