Henry Ford Health's Jackson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical / Progressive Care - Secure Unit to lead coordinated, compassionate patient care using the nursing process.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN licensure, BSN enrollment within 3 years and BSN completion within 5 years, plus proven communication with patients, families, and hospital staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care.
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
